lobster -

Are you close to Roanoke/Christiansburg/Floyd?

FloydFest is a great summer fest - very family friendly and nothing like the ClearChannel sellout fest like Bonnaroo. The music is great, the vibe is great, the crowd is great, the beer is good (and free for VIPs), the weather is usually very nice - mid to low 80s during the day, low 60s at night, the fest site is up in the Shenandoahs - you just can't go wrong with that.

So far our group is up to 3 and likely to grow. Keep an eye on this one?

I am not but I went to the site. It looks cool. Like I said I had never heard of it so when I saw your post I thought it might be a festival to celebrate the music of Pink Floyd. Very good group of musicians.

"I thought it might be a festival to celebrate the music of Pink Floyd."

I wonder how many have gone there thinking the same thing?

You'd think they'd figure that out when the directions say drive to milepost 170.5 on the Blue Ridge Parkway and turn righ on the dirt road.
